Jam Cherry in chocolate

Jam “Cherry in chocolate” – an incredibly delicious combination of cherry and chocolate. This jam can be used to spread biscuit cakes, as a filling in baked goods, and it will taste good on an ordinary slice of bread. We advise you to try it!

“Cherry in chocolate” jam – ingredients

  • Cherry – 1 kg.
  • Sugar – 800 g.
  • Cocoa – 100 g.
  • Dark chocolate (preferably extra dark) – 100 g.

Wash the cherries, remove the pits, cover with sugar for 2-3 hours.

Put on fire, stir very carefully, bring to a boil. Remove from heat, leave to cool.

We take the cherries out of the syrup. We put the syrup on the fire, bring it to a boil, put the cherries in the syrup, turn off the fire, leave to cool. We repeat this stage three times.

For the last time, sift the cocoa into the syrup, mix well so that there are no lumps, then add the chopped chocolate, mix, bring to a boil, lay out the cherries, boil for another 4-5 minutes.

Place the cherries in sterilized jars, seal tightly with sterilized lids.
