Jam for the winter – Cherry in jelly
Jam for the winter “Cherry in jelly” – this is the taste and aroma of fresh cherries in jars. Cherry prepared according to this recipe is not just jam – it is a ready-made delicious dessert. One serving of ingredients makes a little more than six half-liter jars of jam.
***Advice from the author. It is very convenient to close such a cherry in 250 ml jars, it actually turns out to be a portioned dessert.
Jam for the winter “Cherry in jelly” – ingredients
- Stoneless cherries – 3 liters (full three-liter jar).
- Sugar – 1 kg.
- Gelatin – 70
- Water – 0,5 l.

We separate the cherry from the seeds, it should be a full three-liter can.
Pour the prepared cherries into a wide pan with a thick bottom, pour sugar, mix gently and put on fire.
Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
After boiling, cook the cherries for another 4-5 minutes, remove from the heat, add the dissolved gelatin, mix well. Pour into sterile jars, seal hermetically with sterilized lids.
After the jam cools down, put it in the refrigerator or in the cellar.
