A good recipe for pickles – Korean cucumbers for the winter. The recipe is very suitable for the disposal of large cucumbers “overgrowths, only you need to cut them lengthwise into 6-8 parts, and then in half.

Korean-style cucumbers for the winter – ingredients

  • Cucumbers – 3 kg.
  • Carrot – 300 g.
  • Salt – 1,5 tbsp.
  • Oil – 250 ml.
  • Vinegar (9%) – 250 ml.
  • Seasoning for Korean carrots – 12 packets.
  • Garlic – ½ cup.
  • Sugar – ½ cup.

Korean-style cucumbers for the winter – recipe

Cut the small ones lengthwise into 4 parts. Grate carrots on a grater for Korean carrots. Finely chop the garlic with a knife. Add salt, oil, vinegar, seasoning and sugar. Mix well. Cover with a lid and leave for a day at room temperature (mix 3-4 times during this time).

After a day, transfer the salad into half-liter jars, sterilize for 15 minutes. Cover with lids, turn over, wrap. Leave until completely cooled.
