Korean-style asparagus beans
Many of us appreciate, love and make a variety of Korean-style pickled salads. Today Smakota (Smakotainfo.com) offers another such recipe – Korean-style asparagus beans. Korean-style asparagus beans, pod young beans are marinated quickly and please everyone with their pleasant taste!
Ingredients:
- string beans – 500 g.
- carrot – 1 piece (large).
- onion – 1 piece (you can do without it).
- oil – 70 ml.
- vinegar (9%) – 1 tbsp.
- garlic – 3 cloves.
- salt, sugar – to taste.
- bay leaf – 2 small leaves.
- ground black pepper – 0,5 tsp.
- ground coriander – 1 tsp.
- ground red pepper – 0,5 tsp.
Recipe for cooking asparagus beans in Korean
We wash the asparagus beans, cut off the tips and cut them into pieces 3-4 centimeters in size. Boil the beans in salted water for 3-4 minutes, add a bay leaf to the water along with the beans.
While the beans are cooking, peel the carrots and grate them on a grater for Korean carrots. If you make it with onion, then cut it into half rings.
We put the beans in a colander and pour cold water until they cool down completely.
Mix onions, beans and onions in one bowl, mix well. Pass the garlic through a garlic press, add to the vegetable mixture, add black and red peppers and coriander.
Heat the oil in a pan, add vinegar, and pour the heated oil-vinegar mixture over the spices. Mix well, add salt and sugar to taste and mix again.
Tightly tamp in a jar or put under a press and in the refrigerator for 8-10 hours.
