Lecho without vinegar – preservation for the winter

We do spins for the winter. Today, Smakota (Smakotainfo.com) offers a proven recipe lecho for the winter without vinegar. Such a dish will stand calmly all winter, if it can, because it is very tasty and ends faster than other salads and winter preservation.

A recipe for cooking lecho without vinegar

  • Tomatoes – 3 kg.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 kg.
  • Carrot – 1 kg.
  • Oil – 200 ml.
  • Salt – 2 tbsp.
  • Sugar – 200 g.
  1. Wash and clean carrots, cut into strips. Grind the tomatoes in a meat grinder. Peel the pepper from the seeds, cut it into strips.
  2. Pour the oil into the pan and when it is well heated, pour in the carrots, stir and fry for 30 minutes, until soft.

  4. Add ground tomatoes, salt and sugar, after boiling, cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add chopped pepper, cook for 20 minutes after boiling. Pour the finished boiled lecho into sterile jars, twist, turn upside down and cover with a blanket.
