Mbir – no cold! Ginger teas for colds

Ginger root tea perfectly warms and tones, so it can be drunk at any time of the year, and in damp and wet autumn and winter days, it simply has no equal! In addition, by regularly eating ginger or drinking ginger, you strengthen your immunity, prevent colds and significantly reduce the risk of viral infections.

We take about 5-10 cm of ginger root per liter of water. We clean the root, cut it into small pieces or rub it on a grater. First, boil the ginger for about 10 minutes, then add a pinch of black pepper, cinnamon and mint to the water (choose the amount of ingredients according to your own taste). Cook for a few more minutes, remove from heat and strain. Add green tea leaves to the broth, let it brew. Strain the tea and add honey, juice of half a lemon and one. By this time, your whole house will be filled with invigorating, “sunny”, warm aromas, which, like ginger tea, will help you quickly cope with a cold.

Ginger tea for colds and coughs

The following recipe quickly and effectively helps with sore throat and cough.

First of all, we brew tea and strain it into a small saucepan, put it on the fire. Add cardamom, grated ginger, and cloves to the tea and cook for about 20 minutes. At the end, you can add a little lemon or orange juice (freshly squeezed) for flavor. Then remove the tea, cool it and strain it again. You can drink it both cold and warm.

  • Green tea.
  • Water – 350 ml.
  • Ginger root – 4-5 cm.
  • Prunes (preferably dried) – 5-6 pieces.
  • Dry red wine – 250 ml.

Brew green tea, pour it into a saucepan and put it on low heat. Add grated ginger root, prunes, dry red wine. The aromatic mixture should be simmered over low heat for another 15-20 minutes, then strain and cool. It is recommended to take it in a diluted form (just add boiling water in a ratio of 1: 1). This recipe quickly and gently relieves all unpleasant symptoms of a cold: chases away runny nose and cough, relieves headache and muscle pain, tones and invigorates.

Ginger tea for colds quickly

This recipe for ginger tea for colds is good for those who are always in a hurry and decide to get a cold or flu on their feet every time. So, in the morning, cut the ginger into thin slices, put it in a large cup, add some green tea leaves. Put 3-4 circles of fresh lemon on top of the ginger and pour boiling water over it – it will take you a few minutes at most! Then run and get to work. While you are doing your makeup and choosing an outfit, the tea will be fully brewed. A few warm sips on the way – and for the whole day you will be charged with energy and warmed by a wonderful oriental aroma.
