Meat casserole with cauliflower – a good option for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner. Such a casserole will taste good both hot and cold. Be sure to try it!

The recipe is designed for 2-3 servings.

Meat casserole with cauliflower – ingredients

  • Onion – 1 piece.
  • Carrot – 1 piece.
  • Oil – 1 tbsp.
  • Meat (pork or beef) – 300 g.
  • Salt.
  • Ground black pepper.
  • Dill – 1 tbsp. (finely chopped).
  • Cauliflower – 1 piece (small).
  • Mozzarella (grated) – 150 g.
  • Sauce:
  • Mayonnaise – with a tbsp.
  • Chopped dill – 1 tsp.

Meat casserole with cauliflower – preparation

Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Peel the carrot and grate it on a carrot (medium) grater.

We put the pan on the fire, add oil, heat it well, pour the onion, fry until transparent. Add carrots, mix and fry together with onions for a few minutes. Leave to cool.

We clean the cauliflower, wash it well, separate it into florets, boil it in salted water until half cooked. Drain the water, leave to cool.

We grind the meat. Add cooled carrots and onions to the meat, salt and pepper, add finely chopped dill, mix well.

We grease the form (d=25) with fat, put the minced meat, put the cauliflower on top, with the florets facing up.

Mix mayonnaise with dill, spread cabbage on top. Cover the form with a lid or foil. Put in an oven heated to 180 degrees, bake for 50 minutes.

Take out the casserole, remove the lid, sprinkle with grated mozzarella. Put the mold back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes so that the mozzarella melts and browns a little.
