Meat loaf with sweet pepper

An interesting and fairly simple recipe for meatloaf – meat loaf with sweet pepper. The minced meat is well permeated with the aromas of pepper and spices, as well as an interesting sauce-glaze. In general, a very tasty and aromatic alternative to regular cutlets.

Meat loaf with sweet pepper – ingredients

  • Mixed minced meat – 1 kg.
  • Egg (large) – 1 piece.
  • Red pepper – 1 piece.
  • Onions – 2 pieces.
  • Green onion – 2 bunches.
  • Garlic – 4 cloves.
  • Breadcrumbs – 3 tbsp.
  • Mild ketchup – 3-4 tbsp.
  • Salt pepper.
  • Oregano – 2 tbsp.
  • Thyme – 2 tbsp.
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp.
  • For the icing:
  • Mild ketchup – ½ cup.
  • Worcester sauce – 2 tbsp.

Meat loaf with sweet pepper – recipe

Finely chop the pepper, onion and green onion.

Add chopped vegetables, egg, breadcrumbs, ketchup and the rest of the ingredients to the minced meat, mix well and beat the minced meat. Salt and pepper to taste.

Put the minced meat in a baking dish and shape the bread.

Mix ketchup with Worcestershire sauce. Generously cover the bread with it.

Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 70-90 minutes.
