Meatballs with mushrooms in tomato sauce

Tasty, hearty, colorful meatballs with mushrooms in tomato sauce. The taste of such meatballs is original and unique.

Serve ready-made meatballs with spaghetti or potatoes, well poured with tomato sauce, sprinkled with greens on top. Enjoy!

Ingredients for cooking meatballs with mushrooms in tomato sauce:

  • minced meat – 300 g.
  • mushrooms – 250 g.
  • cheese – 50 g.
  • garlic – 1 clove.
  • onion – 1 pcs.
  • boiled rice – 0,5 glasses
  • flour – 2 tbsp.
  • tomato juice – 1 glass.
  • sour cream 20% – 3 tbsp.
  • oil – 1 tbsp.
  • sugar – 1 tsp.
  • salt – to taste.
  • ground black pepper – to taste.
  • dill greens – to taste.

How to cook meatballs with mushrooms in tomato sauce:

Boil rice. We will need 0,5 tbsp (100 g) of boiled rice.

Pass the meat through a meat grinder. Peel the onion, cut it into small cubes. Wash and clean the mushrooms. Finely chop. Clean the garlic and pass it through a press. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater. Dill greens are washed well, dried and finely chopped.

Add all the ingredients for meatballs with mushrooms in tomato sauce to the minced meat. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix the minced meat well and beat it. Wet our hands in water or oil, form the minced meat noisettes.

Prepare a baking tray. Lubricate it with oil and place it on a baking sheet noisettes.

For gravy: mix tomato juice, sugar, sour cream, salt, pepper. Mix the flour well with 0,5 cups of cold water so that a homogeneous mixture is formed and there are no lumps. Fill the meatballs with the resulting mixture. Cover the baking sheet with foil.

Heat the oven to 180 degrees. We put the form with meatballs with mushrooms in tomato sauce in the preheated oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour, until the meatballs are ready. Garnish with greens when serving.
