Meatballs with vegetables

Tender meatballs stewed in a tasty and aromatic vegetable sauce. Meatballs with vegetables – the dish is very tasty and quick to prepare. A great idea for a quick dinner.

Meatballs with vegetables – ingredients

  • For meatballs:
  • Minced meat – 500 g.
  • Egg – 1 piece.
  • Manka – 1 tbsp.
  • Salt pepper.
  • Marjoram.
  • Ground paprika.
  • Flour – about ½ cup.
  • Oil.
    Vegetables:
  • Onions – 2 pieces.
  • Mushrooms – 300 g.
  • Peppers – 2 pieces.
  • Zucchini – 1 piece.
  • Tomatoes – 4-5 pieces.
  • Broth – 50 g.
  • Spicy ketchup – 200 g.
  • Salt pepper.
  • Chopped parsley.

Add egg, semolina and spices to taste to the minced meat, mix everything well. Form small balls. Dip in flour.

Fry the meatballs in a heated pan with oil. Remove the meatballs from the pan.

Cut onions into cubes, mushrooms into slices. Fry in the fat in which the meatballs were fried.

Cut the pepper into pieces (not small), add to the pan.

Cut the zucchini into cubes, put them in a pan, fry them a little.

Peel the tomatoes, cut them into quarters and add them to the pan.

Add fried meatballs, pour broth, cover with a lid, simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Add ketchup, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, over low heat for another 10-15 minutes.

Serve with bread sprinkled with parsley.
