Meatloaf, baked in the oven

Smakota (Smakotainfo.com) offers a recipe for easy-to-prepare meatloaf. Even a novice housewife can handle the preparation of such bread. Everything is easy and simple.

Meat loaf can be eaten as a separate dish or served as a side dish.

Meatloaf recipe

  • Pork – 300 g.
  • Beef – 600 g.
  • Lard or sponder – 100 g.
  • Broth or water – 250 ml.
  • Eggs – 3-4 pieces.
  • Round buns (tea type) – 2 pieces.
  • Onion – 1-2 pieces.
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves.
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg.

Grind the meat, finely chop the lard or grind using a nozzle with coarse holes. Finely chop the onion and fry until soft. Soak the buns in broth or water.

Mix all the prepared ingredients, add beaten eggs, season to taste and mix well.

Put the finished minced meat in a greased high form and bake for 1 hour, first at a temperature of 180 degrees, and towards the end we increase the temperature so that the bread is well browned.

You can squeeze out several loaves of minced meat and sprinkle them with ground breadcrumbs. You can put boiled and cleaned chicken or quail eggs in the middle of the bread. You can spread such loaves on one large baking sheet.
