Meatloaf Original

Today we will prepare a delicious and dietary dish – “Original” meatloaf. This bread combines meat with rice, feta and tomatoes very well, and basil gives the dish a special aroma and taste.

“Original” meatloaf – ingredients

  • Beef – 350 g.
  • Rice (grain weight) – 150 g.
  • Green onion – 1 bunch.
  • Feta – 80 g.
  • Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp.
  • Egg – 1 piece.
  • Basil (dry) – 2 tsp.
  • Tomato – 1 piece.
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp.
  • Salt pepper.

“Original” meatloaf – preparation

Cook the rice until ready and leave it to cool.

Grind the beef in a meat grinder. Add finely chopped green onion, feta cut into pieces, egg, tomato sauce, 1 tsp. basil, cooled rice, salt, pepper and mix everything well.

We line the form with baking paper and put the mass there. Cut the tomato into thin strips and place on top of the minced meat, sprinkle with the remaining basil and drizzle with olive oil.

Cover the tomatoes with the edges of baking paper and put the bread in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. After half an hour, fold the parchment and continue baking.
