For the holiday, you want something unusual, sweet and tasty. If you have some honey at home, we recommend baking it honeydew – balls with chocolate fudge. They are baked very easily and quickly. Soft and fluffy ones always work well. They can be eaten with jam, jam, or simply sprinkled with powder or coconut shavings.

Honey cakes – balls with chocolate fudge – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • honey – 200 g.
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • soda – 1 tsp.
  • ground cinnamon – 1 tsp.
  • sugar – 200 g.
  • flour – 600g.
  • For fondant:
  • sugar – 300 g.
  • water – 1/2 glass
  • chocolate or cocoa – 50 g.

Medvniki – balls with chocolate fudge prepare as follows: boil honey with cinnamon, add pre-sifted flour with soda. Beat eggs with sugar and add to our dough. The dough should be cool in its thickness. We make small balls from the dough. Heat the oven to 190-200 degrees. Bake the balls for 10 minutes. Taking the balls out of the oven while they are still hot, dip them in fondant. You can mold the balls two at a time, or you can leave them as they are.

Fudge is prepared as follows: boil syrup from water and sugar, add chocolate or cocoa and cook until it begins to thicken.
