Mini galette with cherry

Simple and fairly budget-friendly recipe mini galettes with cherries. Shortbread, chocolate and cherries. Everything is simple – both the recipe and the preparation – but the result will pleasantly surprise you.

Mini galette with cherry – ingredients

  • For shortcrust pastry:
  • Flour – 200 g.
  • Oil – 100
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • Water – 30 ml.
  • For the filling:
  • Cherries – about 350 g.
  • Dark or milk chocolate – 100 g.
  • Additionally:
  • Brown sugar.
  • Milk.

Shortbread dough

Add sugar to flour, mix. Add solid (from the refrigerator) butter, cut into cubes, cut with a knife until the butter crumbles, add cold (ice) water, knead the dough.

We form a ball from the dough, wrap it in cling film, put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Filling

Wash cherries, cut in half.

Chop the chocolate, melt it in a water bath.

We form galettes

Divide the dough into 6 parts. Roll out each piece into a pancake with a diameter of about 13 cm.

Spread cooled (but liquid) chocolate on each pancake, leave about 3 cm from the edge (on each side).

We lay out the pancakes with chocolate on a form covered with parchment, lay out the cherry cut side down. We fold the edges of the dough in the middle, pinching so that the dough holds its shape during baking.

Lubricate the dough with milk, sprinkle with brown sugar.

Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for about 35 minutes, until the dough becomes slightly golden.

We serve the galettes slightly warm. Bon appetit!
