Mole kidney cake

“Mole kidney” cake – a delicate, fragrant, airy cake. It is prepared very quickly and simply, and the result is simply wonderful taste. Prepare such a cake before the arrival of guests, and you will undoubtedly have to share the recipe.

So let’s prepare a cake in the kitchen as soon as possible.

Cake “Kidney of a mole” – ingredients

  • For the cake:
  • Flour – 200 g.
  • Milk – 160 ml.
  • Sugar – 100 g.
  • Eggs – 2 pieces.
  • Oil – 80 ml.
  • Cocoa – 40 g.
  • Baking powder – 2 tsp.
  • For soufflé:
  • Cheese – 300 g.
  • Milk – 250 ml.
  • Sugar – 100 g.
  • Gelatin – 10
  • Bananas – 4-5 pieces.

Cake “Kidney of a mole” – preparation

Mix flour with baking powder and cocoa. Beat eggs with sugar, then add milk and oil, beat well again.

Combine the liquid and dry ingredients, mix everything with a spoon. Pour the dough into a mold greased with oil. We put the mold in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden stick.

While the cake is baking, prepare the souffle. Gelatin is poured with milk and left for 30 minutes to swell. Then we put it on the fire and heat it until the gelatin is completely dissolved (do not boil!).

Beat the cheese with sugar, then pour in the dissolved gelatin in a thin stream (the cheese and the dissolved gelatin should be at approximately the same temperature). Beat everything well.

Cool the finished cake on a wire rack. When the cake cools, put a round plate or tire on it and make an incision (do not cut to the bottom, the distance to the sides of the cake should remain at least 1,5 cm). We take out the core (so that the sides and bottom remain). Place the bananas on the bottom of the cake and fill them with cheese mass. Sprinkle the chopped core of the cake on top. We put the cake in the refrigerator for the night.
