Mushroom salad

Mushroom salad – quick, colorful and tasty salad with mushrooms. The salad recipe is simple and versatile, it can be served without hesitation, both at the festive and at the family table.

Mushroom salad – ingredients

  • Fresh mushrooms – 500 g (or marinated – 300 g).
  • Corn – 280 g.
  • Pickled cucumbers – 200 g.
  • Red onion – 70 g.
  • Apple – 130 g.
  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Mayonnaise – 4 st.l.
  • Chopped dill – a handful.
  • Mustard – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – ½ tsp. + 1 tbsp.
  • Pepper – a pinch.

Mushroom salad – cooking recipe

Wash the mushrooms under running water, clean them (if necessary). We separate the caps from the legs.

Boil water in a medium saucepan, add 1 tbsp. salt, lay out caps and legs. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. (if we use pickled mushrooms, we skip this stage).

Throw the mushrooms in a colander, slightly (very carefully) squeeze out excess moisture. Cut into smaller pieces.

Peel the cucumbers, cut them into cubes.

Peel the apple, cut it into cubes.

Cut the onion into small cubes, cover with boiling water.

Mix mayonnaise with mustard, freshly ground pepper and salt.

Mix all the ingredients.
