Mushroom soup with dumplings

We offer you to prepare a fragrant and delicious mushroom soup with dumplings. Celery gives this soup a special aroma and taste, so we recommend making the soup with it.

Seasonal mushroom soup with dumplings, prepared with Smakota (, will decorate your dining table. When serving the soup, you can decorate it with greens to taste. Mushrooms and dumplings are combined in the soup, which gives it piquancy and originality.

Ingredients for making mushroom soup with dumplings:

  • dried mushrooms – 50 g (or fresh – 500 g).
  • flour – 1 cup.
  • water – 1/4 cup.
  • onion – 1 pcs.
  • celery root (small) – 1 pc.
  • parsley root – 1 pc.
  • potatoes – 600 g.
  • carrots – 1 pcs.
  • salt – to taste.
  • black pepper with peas – to taste.
  • oil.
  • greens.

Cooking mushroom soup with dumplings:

Wash the mushrooms well, cut them and boil the broth. If you use dried mushrooms, they must first be soaked in water, washed, and then cooked. When the mushrooms are cooked, drain them. Heat the pan and fry the mushrooms in oil. Here we add chopped celery, parsley and onion.

Wash the potatoes well, peel them and cut them into small squares.

Heat up the boiled mushroom broth. Add potatoes, fried mushrooms and celery, parsley and onion to the pan (you can add the onion whole and not fry it). Salt and pepper to taste. When it boils, add dumplings. Cook until done.

We prepare dumplings: we take a container, pour a hill of flour, make a depression in the middle and pour water, salt. Knead a stiff dough. We roll out the dough and make a “sausage” 1 cm thick, cut into dumplings. Throw the finished dumplings into the mushroom soup.
