Mushrooms on a skewer – this is really a very refined and royal snack! The combination of fragrant chicken with crispy pickled cucumber and hard cheese will leave you with pleasure for a long time. The recipe is quite simple, and the dish is extremely tasty and will beautifully decorate our festive table.

Mushrooms on a skewer – ingredients

  • Mushrooms – 500 g.
  • Hard cheese – 300 g.
  • Chicken fillet (smoked or baked) – 2 pcs.
  • Pickled cucumber – 300-400 g.
  • Purple onion – 2-3 pcs.
  • Iceberg lettuce – 4-5 leaves.
  • Lemon – 1/2 pc.
  • Soy sauce – 4 tbsp.
  • Mustard in grains – 2 tbsp.
  • Sesame.
  • Salt pepper.

Mushrooms on a skewer – cooking recipe

We clean the mushrooms from the skin, wash them with running water, drain the water. Marinate mushrooms (we only need caps) in soy sauce, mustard, salt and pepper to taste, leave for 15 minutes.

Bake the mushrooms in the oven for 10-15 minutes. at a temperature of 180 degrees, so that they brown a little and release juice. After it is ready, let it cool.

Cut the cheese into pieces (you can also cut the cheese into cubes, depending on how long the skewer is). Cut the cucumber lengthwise, 3-4 mm wide. Tear the salad into smaller pieces.

Cut the smoked chicken fillet into lengthwise pieces 1-1.5 cm wide. And if you want baked meat, then use the same marinade as for mushrooms, bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes. at a temperature of 200-220 degrees.

Peel the onion and cut it into half rings. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

When all the ingredients have been prepared, we begin to form a mushroom skewer.

First, we pierce one mushroom cap, then half an onion, a piece of cheese, a cucumber, a chicken fillet, pieces of lettuce and cover it with another mushroom cap. Sprinkle the finished skewer with sesame seeds and serve.
