Myslyvsky salad (cabbage, carrot, cucumber, pepper, tomato) – a delicious vegetable salad for the winter. Such a salad is prepared without much trouble, cut everything and put it in a pan. Such a salad is always the first to leave the table. It is a quick and tasty addition to the main dish.

  • Cabbage – 1 kg.
  • Carrot – 1 kg.
  • Cucumber – 1 kg.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 kg.
  • Onion – 1 kg.
  • Tomato – 3 kg.
  • Sugar – 1 cup.
  • Salt – 90 g.
  • Oil – 250 g.
  • Black pepper – 8-10 peas.
  • Bay leaf – 5 pieces.
  • Vinegar (9%) – 150 ml.

Place a layer of sliced ​​carrots in a large pan. Then a layer of shredded cabbage, then onion cut into half rings, cucumber circles, bell pepper half rings, tomato circles (if the circles are very large, cut them into 2-4 parts).

Put on fire, do not stir. As the salad warms up, it releases juice.

Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and spices.

When our salad warms up well and boils, add all the seasonings and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes from the time of boiling.

Put the hot salad into clean jars, sterilize jars of 0,5 l – 5 minutes, 1 l – 10 minutes (time from boiling).

We tightly twist with metal lids, turn upside down, wrap well with a warm blanket, leave to cool.

About 7 liters of ready-made salad are obtained.
