New potato salad

Smakota ( offers prepare a delicious salad from young potatoes. Hearty salad with incredibly tasty dressing. Tender new potatoes, crispy radishes and fragrant fish. And we suggest making more dressings, so that the salad will be juicy.

New potato salad recipe

  • Potatoes (young) – 6 pieces of medium size.
  • Trout (or any red smoked fish) – 100 g.
  • Radish – 50 g.
  • Lettuce leaves – 50 g.
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp.
  • Olive oil – 6 tbsp.
  • Mustard (grain) – 1 tsp.
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp.
  • Chili pepper (to taste).
  • Mint.
  • Cilantro.
  • Black pepper.
  • Parsley.

Boil new potatoes in salted water until ready. We make sure that the potatoes do not boil.

While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the sauce. Mix lemon juice, mustard seeds, olive oil and soy sauce.

Drain the water from the potatoes and pour half of the dressing into the hot potatoes, add finely chopped chili pepper (adjust the spiciness to taste).

Cut the radish into thin circles and marinate in the remaining dressing. Cut the smoked red fish into cubes (we are talking about fillets).

We tear the lettuce leaves with our hands, pour over the dressing, sprinkle with pepper, and mix. Put pickled radish and fish cubes on the salad, put roughly chopped potatoes on top, sprinkle with chopped greens (cilantro, parsley, mint).
