Nuts (recipe)

Peanuts are a simple recipe famous cakes in the shape of nuts. Shortbread and nut cream – tasty and quick. Such cakes are ideal for children’s parties, school fairs and just for family tea parties.

Nuts are ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Flour – 500 g.
  • Oil – 250
  • Powdered sugar – 150 g.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • Eggs – 2 pieces (large).
  • For the filling:
  • Walnuts (ground) – 2,5 cups.
  • Milk – 500 ml.
  • Sugar – 1 cup.
  • Oil – 50

Dough

Mix flour with powdered sugar and baking powder, add solid butter cut into cubes, cut with a knife to obtain fine butter crumbs. Add eggs to the crumbs, knead the dough.

We form balls, the size of a hazelnut, put them on the holes of a heated peanut pan, cover, fry on both sides until golden.

Filling

Pour milk into a pan, add sugar, bring to a boil. Pour in the nuts, stir and cook for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat, add butter, stir until butter melts completely. Set aside to cool.

We fill the walnut halves with filling and “glue” them together.

Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
