The recipe for making paska “Surprise”

Let’s start cooking “Surprise” straps. Take some warm milk (70 ml), sugar, 3-4 tablespoons, flour and yeast. Mix everything thoroughly and let it stand for a while. It will start to come together (bubbles will form) – you can add steam to the rest of the ingredients. And while the yeast is ready, we will mix the rest of the ingredients. Combine remaining warm milk, eggs, butter, sour cream, vanilla, salt, and remaining sugar. Eggs, butter and sour cream should be at room temperature. And now add the yeast that has come to this mixture, mix gently. Add the remaining flour, but be sure to sift it. Mix the dough for “Surprise” straps. It should be soft and a little loose. Place the dough in a bowl sprinkled with flour, cover with a towel and store in the cupboard. A vessel for dough on “Surprise” belt should be approximately twice the volume of the dough itself, because it should increase twice.

While the dough is ready, we will prepare the filling for “Surprise” straps. Cut the onion into half rings, the bell pepper into strips, finely chop the garlic. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, add salt, pepper and lightly beat with a hammer. Considering the fact that the dough will not be in the oven for a long time and the temperature is not high enough, fry the fillet in a pan. Cool the fillet and mix with vegetables and grated cheese, season with spices.

Let’s deal with the dough on “Surprise” straps. Divide the dough into parts. Roll out two circles and four rectangles from the dough. Line the paska form with parchment, lay out the bottom of the paska (circle), then carefully place the rectangles-“walls” of the paska and connect the sides with the bottom. Put the filling and close with a “lid”-circle. Repeat this procedure with each piece of dough. In the middle “Surprise” straps make a small hole. Bake the pastries in an oven heated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Ready “Surprise” straps you can decorate with sour cream and herbs!

Enjoy everyone! Happy Easter!
