Boil the macaroni until done. But we don’t allow them to boil over. Cool, rinse. In the process, the volume will be twice as large – about 4 glasses.

Mix mayonnaise, mustard, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.

Cut the sweet pepper and celery stalks into small cubes. Finely chop the red onion.

Cut the cheese into cubes with a side of up to 1 centimeter.

Combine pasta and vegetables in a salad bowl. Pour dressing on top, mix slightly.

Let the salad rest for at least 30 minutes (an hour or more is better) in the refrigerator.

Before serving, put pieces of cheese on top. If you don’t have cheddar, any hard cheese will do. The easiest option is to use Dutch.
