Penne with chicken liver in white wine

Penne is a type of short pasta, also called tubes – feathers. Penne with Chicken Liver in White Wine is a pasta served with aromatic chicken liver that has been cooked with red onions and stewed in white wine.

Necessary products for preparing penne with chicken liver in white wine

  • Penne (boiled) – 200-400 g.
  • Chicken liver – 500 g.
  • Red onion – 1 pcs.
  • Butter – 50 g.
  • Black pepper, ground – to taste.
  • Salt – to taste.
  • White, dry wine – 150 ml.

Preparation of penne with chicken liver in white wine

1. Wash the chicken liver thoroughly and cut it into fairly small pieces.

2. Peel the red onion from the upper husk and cut it into half rings.

3. Melt butter in a pan.

4. Fry the onion in a pan for 2-3 minutes.

5. Add the liver to the onion in the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.

6. After 5 minutes, pour in the wine and cook for 7-8 minutes until the sauce thickens.

7. Boil penne in salted water for 8-10 minutes until ready. Add the stewed liver to the pasta.
