Pie with apples and cheese – ingredients

  • Flour – 480 g.
  • Oil – 300
  • Eggs – 6 pieces.
  • Cheese – 500 g.
  • Apples – 4 pieces.
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp.
  • Granulated sugar – 350 g.
  • Baking powder – 1 bag (15 g).
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 bag (10 g).

Separate the proteins from the yolks. We put proteins in the refrigerator.

Add 150 g of sugar, vanilla sugar and three egg yolks to soft butter, beat well to a homogeneous consistency. Add flour and baking powder to the butter mixture. Knead a soft elastic dough. Cover the dough with a film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

When the time is up, take the dough out of the refrigerator, flatten it, make sides, prick it with a fork and put it in an oven heated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Now we will prepare the filling. Add 100 g of sugar, 3 egg yolks and the rest of the vanilla sugar to the cheese (it is best to take dry, well squeezed). Beat until smooth.

Peel the apples, cut out the middles and cut them into slices, sprinkle with lemon juice.

We take the dough out of the oven, let it cool a little and spread the cheese, apple slices on top. Send to the oven and bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until golden.

Beat the egg whites with the rest of the sugar until stiff peaks form. We put it on top of the cake, send it back to the oven for 10-15 minutes. The top layer should become golden, but remain soft.

Now the most difficult step in the recipe. Places should be left to infuse for 8-10 hours.
