Pie with cherry
Today we will prepare a delicious and very easy to prepare cake with cherry. The sweet, delicate dough is harmoniously combined with the cherry, which is filled with a delicious sour cream filling. Try it! And this pie will forever remain in your cookbook.
Cherry pie – ingredients
- For the dough:
- Flour – 200 g.
- Oil – 100
- Sour cream – 100 ml.
- Sugar – 50 g.
- Baking powder – 2/3 tsp.
- A pinch of salt.
- For the filling:
- Cherries (pitted) – 400 g.
- Sour cream – 150 ml.
- Sugar – 80 g.
- Starch – 2 tbsp.
- Vanilla sugar – 10 g.

Cherry pie – preparation
Wash the cherry and remove the stone, let it drain in a colander. If we cook from frozen pitted cherries, we defrost them and also let them drain.
Now let’s do the test. Mix soft butter, sour cream and sugar, beat until smooth. Sift the flour with baking powder and add to the sour cream-butter mixture. Knead the soft dough.
We grease the form (24 cm) with oil and sprinkle it with flour. We put the dough in a mold and distribute the dough with our hands on the bottom of the mold, and form the sides.
Now we will prepare the filling. Mix sour cream, sugar, vanilla sugar and starch, mix well.
Distribute the cherries evenly over the cake and pour the filling. We put the form with the pie in the oven heated to 200 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Let the pie cool and only then cut it into pieces.
