Pies in a hurry

Smakota (Smakotainfo.com) offers a recipe for making pies in a hurry. This recipe is designed for those people who really like pies, but don’t really want to spend a lot of time preparing the dough. The dough is soft, does not stick to the hands, and the cakes do not fall apart. And everyone can choose the filling for pies to their taste. Since now is Lent, the filling will also be Lent, namely fish filling.

A quick recipe for pie dough

  • For the dough:
  • flour – 4 cups (in some cases more, as the flour is different).
  • salt – 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • oil – 2 tbsp. oil
  • milk – 500 g.
  • dry yeast – 1 package (7 grams).

  • For the filling:
  • boiled fish – 0,5 kg.
  • boiled eggs – 3 pieces.
  • margarine – 50 g.
  • onion – 1 piece.
  • salt.
  • black pepper.

We start with the dough. We take milk (you can warm it up a little), add sugar, salt, oil to it. Mix flour with dry yeast and pour in milk. Mix until a homogeneous mass. Wrap it in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. We roll out the dough, mix it with flour and form patties.

Separate the boiled fish from the bones. Fry onions in margarine, add chopped fish and eggs. Salt and pepper to taste. Pies can be fried and baked. Enjoy everyone!
