Ingredients for pies with cherries

  • Pressed yeast – 50 g.
  • Milk – 500 ml.
  • Sugar – 250 g.
  • Salt – 0,5 tsp.
  • Eggs – 3 pieces.
  • Oil – 100

  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp.
  • Flour – 7 full glasses (250 ml).
  • Cherry for stuffing.
  • Semolina.

Recipe for pies with cherries

Dilute yeast in warm milk (150 ml) and add 3 tbsp. flour and a spoonful of sugar, let it rise for 15-20 minutes. When the solution is suitable, add the rest of the milk, 2 tbsp. sugar, 0,5 tsp. salt, 2 cups of flour. The dough turns out like thick sour cream, let it rise for 30-40 minutes.

Grind the yolks with sugar, add melted butter, oil, sour cream, 2 beaten egg whites, 5 cups of flour. Knead a soft, elastic dough that does not stick to your hands. Let the dough rise, knead.

When the dough is suitable for the second time, form patties. Put a little semolina, sugar, and a cherry on top of the circle of dough. We pinch. Brush the top with egg white. Bake for about 2 minutes (focus on your oven) at a temperature of 30 degrees.
