Pliatsok Dynasty

Pliatsok Dynasty belongs to those pastries that always succeed, look good, cut well and stay fresh for a long time. Successfully selected and combined ingredients – chocolate and nut cakes, cherries, lemon jelly – make this dish perfect.

Pliatsok Dynasty – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Margarine – 300
  • Powdered sugar – 250 g.
  • Vanilla sugar – 20 g.
  • Eggs – 6 pieces.
  • Flour – 250 g.
  • Baking powder – 2 tsp.
  • Cocoa – 2 tablespoon
  • Walnuts – ¾ cup (ground).
  • For the cherry layer:
  • Cherry jelly – 2 packages.
  • Cherries in syrup – 1 can (1 l).
  • Cherry jam is good, but you can replace it with any other.
  • Water – 2 cups.
  • For the lemon layer:
  • Whipped cream (powder) – 1 package.
  • Milk – ½ cup.
  • Lemon jelly – 1 package.
  • Water – 1 glass.

Pliatsok Dynasty – preparation

Cakes

Separate the yolks from the whites.

Beat margarine until fluffy, add sugar and vanilla sugar, continue beating. Add yolks one at a time (add the next one only when the previous one is completely combined with the butter mass).

Mix flour with baking powder, add to the butter mixture, beat well until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Beat the protein until a thick stable mass is formed, carefully mix it into the dough.

Divide the dough into 3 parts. Add cocoa to one part, nuts to the second, and leave the third as it is.

Bake the cakes one by one in an oven heated to 180 degrees, for 20 minutes each. We use a form (25×36), cover each time with parchment.

Cherry layer

Drain the cherries, if necessary, remove the pits.

Dissolve the jelly in hot water, add cherries, leave until it thickens slightly.

Grease the white cake with jam, transfer the already thickened jelly, level it, cover it with a nut cake, press it down slightly.

Lemon layer

Dissolve lemon jelly in hot water. We leave it until it thickens slightly.

Beat the cream powder with cold milk, add the thickening jelly, beat until smooth. We spread the obtained mass on a nut cake, cover it with a chocolate cake, press it down slightly.

We put the braid in the refrigerator for several hours (preferably overnight).
