Allow me to suggest another one recipe from sister Anastasia – braids from Lonsky translated. The combination of alcohol-soaked prunes, walnuts, chocolate, and custard simply fascinates and tempts you to taste the cake again and again. Try it! This is a real pleasure!

Pliatsok Lonskii prekladanets – preparation

Soak the prunes in vodka for the night (before cooking the platka), cover tightly.

Brown cake

Separate the whites from the yolks, beat until stiff foam. Add sugar one spoon at a time, stirring constantly. Beat until a smooth, shiny mass is obtained, like a meringue. Add egg yolks, beat at the lowest speed of the mixer. Add flour mixed with baking powder, mix easily. Pour cocoa, mix again.

Transfer the dough to a mold (25×35), line the bottom with parchment, and bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

We soak the brown biscuit with vodka, which has also been poured with prunes. Spread 1/3 of the cream on top. Grease the walnut biscuit again with 1/3 of the cream, spread the prunes on top of the cream, cover with 1/3 of the cream. Drizzle with chocolate glaze (any to your taste). Put the dough in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours.

Beat the egg whites to a stiff foam, add sugar one spoon at a time, beat like a meringue. Add nuts, flour, baking powder, honey, breadcrumbs, mix well. We put it in a form lined with baking paper. Bake for 35 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Cream

Grind the yolks with sugar, add a glass of cold milk, flour, starch, mix until smooth.

Bring the rest of the milk to a boil, pour the mass into the boiling milk, stirring constantly until it thickens.

Beat the butter until light and fluffy. Spoon in the cooled pudding.
