Pliatsok Strawberry Dream

Strawberries, jelly, yogurt and chocolate sponge cake – all this is very well combined in strawberry dream patch from the village Anastasia Such a braid has an incredible look and taste. Such a braid can be made not only with strawberries, but also with all seasonal berries.

Pliatsok Strawberry dream – ingredients

  • For bіskvіtu:
  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Sugar – ¾ cup.
  • Flour – ½ cup.
  • Cocoa – 2 tablespoon
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • For the yogurt mass:
  • Natural yogurt – 1,5 l.
  • Gelatin – 9 tsp.
  • Powdered sugar – to taste.
  • Water – ¾ cup.
  • Additionally:
  • Green jelly (kiwi, gooseberry) – 2 packages.
  • Strawberry jelly – 2 packages.
  • Strawberries – 1 kg.

Pliatsok Strawberry dream – cooking

Dough

Separate the proteins from the yolks. Beat the egg whites to a stiff foam, gradually add sugar one spoon at a time, beat until smooth and glossy. Add the egg yolks one at a time, beating at the lowest speed of the mixer.

Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa, carefully stir into the egg mixture with a spoon or spatula.

Cover the bottom of the mold (25×35) with parchment, pour the dough and bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 25 minutes until a “dry match”.

Yogurt mass

Dissolve gelatin in hot water, leave to cool.

Beat yogurt with powdered sugar. Gradually pour in the cooled gelatin, whisking all the time.

Dissolve jelly in hot water, 2 packages of jelly per 700 ml.

We collect the braid

Pour half of the yogurt mixture on top of the cake. We put it in the freezer until it hardens.

Pour green jelly on top. Again in the freezer until frozen.

Pour the rest of the yogurt onto the hardened green jelly and spread the strawberries. We put it in the refrigerator until it hardens.

Pour strawberry jelly on top and put it back in the fridge.

When the top layer of jelly has hardened well, cut the cake into portioned pieces and serve.
