Pliatsok Strawberry sky

Pliatsok with heavenly taste – square Strawberry sky. Two layers of strawberries are separated by a mass on a delicate sponge cake. Very strawberry, light and fresh taste. This cake takes a little time to make (for each layer to cool and harden), but overall, it’s very easy to make.

Pliatsok Strawberry sky – ingredients

  • For the cake:
  • Eggs – 2 pieces.
  • Sugar – ¼ cup.
  • Flour – ¼ cup.
  • For strawberry mass:
  • Strawberries – 500 g.
  • Strawberry jelly – 2 packages.
  • For the yogurt mass:
  • Natural yogurt – 300 g.
  • Cheese (thrice ground) – 250 g.
  • Gelatin – 1 tbsp.

Sponge cake

Separate the egg whites from the yolks, beat until stiff foam, add sugar one spoon at a time, beat well each time. Add yolks one by one, beat at the lowest speed of the mixer. We sift the flour to the egg mass, carefully knead with a spatula.

Cover the bottom of the mold (d=21 cm) with parchment, spread the dough, bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. We are cooling.

Strawberry mass

We wash the strawberries, clean them from the stalks, beat them in a blender until smooth. Dissolve the jelly in a glass of hot water, cool it and pour it over the strawberries. Mix well. Divide the mass into 2 parts. We put one of them in the refrigerator until it thickens slightly. Transfer the thickened mass to the cake. We put it in the refrigerator until it thickens completely.

Yogurt mass

Mix yogurt with cheese. Dissolve gelatin in ¼ cup of boiling water, cool, add to yogurt mass. We spread the mass on top of the strawberry mass, put it in the refrigerator until it thickens completely. We take it out, fill it with the rest of the strawberry mass, put it in the refrigerator until it thickens.
