Plyatsok Coconut snowflake – ingredients

  • For bіskvіtu:
  • Eggs – 9 pieces.
  • Sugar – 1,5 cups.
  • Flour – 3/4 cup.
  • Starch – 3/4 cup.
  • Baking powder – 3 tsp.
  • For the cream:
  • Milk – 3,5 glasses.
  • Powdered sugar – 30 g.
  • Vanilla pudding – 40 g.
  • Flour – 10 g.
  • Yolks – from 2 eggs.
  • Oil – 250
  • For jelly:
  • Condensed milk – 500 ml.
  • Lemon jelly – 2 packages.
  • Gelatin – 5 tsp.
  • For posipka:
  • Coconut shavings – 100 g.
  • Butter – 1 tsp.
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp.

Plyatsok Coconut Snowflake – preparation

Before starting the preparation, dilute the lemon jelly in 350 ml of hot water and leave it to harden.

Carefully separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the whites to stiff peaks. Gradually add sugar. Add yolks one by one, beat at the lowest speed. Sift the flour with baking powder and carefully mix it into the egg mass with a spatula. Line three forms (25×35) with parchment and pour in each third of the dough. We put the molds in an oven heated to 180 degrees, bake for 25-30 minutes. Take out, leave to cool.

***Note. If you do not have three identical forms, or it is not possible to bake three cakes at once, then divide the ingredients into 3 and knead the dough 3 times.

Mix half a glass of milk with egg yolks, flour and pudding powder until smooth. We put the rest of the milk on the fire, bring it to a boil, pour the pudding mass into the milk, stirring, and cook until it thickens. We are cooling. Beat the butter with powdered sugar to a soft creamy mass, add the pudding mass one spoon at a time, continue beating.

Melt butter in a pan, add chips and sugar, fry until light brown.

Dissolve the gelatin in 100 ml of hot water. Cut the hardened jelly into cubes. Beat condensed milk a little, pour in gelatin, mix well. Pour in the chopped jelly, gently mix with a spatula.

We begin to collect the plait. Spread two-thirds of the vanilla cream on the biscuit, put the next cake on top, spread it with jelly cream, spread the last cake with the remaining vanilla cream and sprinkle with roasted coconut. Put the dough in the cold for 3-4 hours.
