Polish salad with onions

We offer to cook a simple, very tender one Polish salad with onions. The salad ingredients are unusual, but they are well selected and complement each other. Salad goes well with chicken and meat dishes. Sour-spicy dressing is best for this salad. Before serving, we recommend cooling the salad (it is best to put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes). If desired, you can add greens.

Ingredients for making Polish onion salad.

  • For the base:
  • sweet apples – 2 pcs.
  • onion (medium) – 1 pc.
  • salted or pickled cucumbers – 2 pcs.
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • For the filling:
  • sour cream – 1 tablespoons
  • mustard is ready – 1 tsp.
  • lemon juice – 1 tsp.
  • mayonnaise – 3 tbsp.
  • salt, ground pepper – to taste.

Preparation of Polish salad with onions:

We will prepare a salad bowl in which we will put the ingredients for Polish salad with onions.

Clean the onion, wash it in cold water and finely chop it, pour it into a salad bowl. Dry the cucumbers and finely chop them. We send to the onion. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into small cubes.

Hard boil the eggs. Cool, dry. Clean and cut into cubes. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Prepare the dressing: mix sour cream, mustard, lemon juice, mayonnaise, salt and pepper to a homogeneous mixture.

Pour the salad dressing. Mix well.
