Pork dumplings with mushrooms – recipe

Remove veins and film (if any) from pork tenderloin. Wash and dry the meat, cut with a sharp knife into pieces 4-5 cm thick.

Put each piece of meat in a regular plastic bag, beat with a hammer on both sides. Remove the package from the meat, salt the meat, pepper to taste on both sides.

Peel the onion, finely chop it. Heat a frying pan with a small amount of oil. Fry the finely chopped onion in a frying pan over medium heat until translucent. Then add finely chopped mushrooms, fry, stirring, for another 10-15 minutes (until the liquid evaporates). Salt the mushroom mixture to taste.

Spread the beaten pieces of meat on the work surface. Put the mushroom filling on the meat. Wrap the meat in rolls. It is not necessary to rewind the krucheniki with a thread, because the rolls do not unfold during baking. If you are going to fry krucheniki in a pan, you need to fasten the edges with toothpicks or tie with a thread.

Put the meatballs in a fireproof form or on a baking sheet lined with foil. Pour a little oil on top. Bake the krucheniki in an oven heated to 180 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until the krucheniki are ready. After 10 minutes, start watching the readiness of the meat so as not to dry it out.

Serve baked krucheniki with vegetables and a side dish, sprinkling freshly ground pepper on top.
