Potato casserole with meat is everyone’s favorite dish, which is already a full-fledged side dish with meat. We will also add sour cream and hard cheese to the dish and it will be a very quick and tasty dish.

Necessary products for cooking potato casserole with meat

  • Potatoes – 1 kg.
  • Onion – 2 pc.
  • Minced pork – 800 kg.
  • Salt – to taste.
  • Sour cream – 50 ml.
  • Hard cheese – 30 g.
  • Black pepper – to taste.
  • Oil – 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking potato casserole with meat

1. Peel the onion and cut it into half rings. In a frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil, fry the onion until soft.

2. Add minced meat to fried onions.

3. Cook minced meat with onions until the meat is ready. Salt and pepper to taste.

4. Boil potatoes in salted water until ready (until soft). Mash the potatoes.

5. Grease a heat-resistant form with 1 tbsp. l. oil and lay out half of the potatoes. Salt and pepper it to taste.

6. Put the meat on the potatoes.

7. Place the remaining potatoes on top of the meat and spread it evenly.

8. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

9. Grease a layer of potatoes with sour cream and sprinkle with cheese.

10. Put the dish in the oven. We cook the dish for 20-30 minutes at a temperature of 150 degrees. Potato casserole with meat.
