Pumpkin pie

Today we will prepare a tasty and aromatic dish pumpkin pie. This pie is prepared very quickly, and tastes like pumpkin cheesecake.

In this pies with pumpkin the ingredients are very well combined, and the spices give a special taste and aroma.

Pumpkin pie – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • honey – 1 tbsp.
  • biscuit cookies – 10 pieces.
  • pumpkin seeds – 50 g.
  • oil – 50 g.
  • For the filling:
  • nutmeg – 1 tsp.
  • cheese – 150 g.
  • cinnamon – 1 tsp.
  • sugar – 100 g.
  • vanilla sugar – 1 tsp.
  • eggs – 3 pcs.
  • pumpkin – 250 g.
  • honey – 50
  • salt.
  • grated fresh ginger – 1 tsp.
  • For the cream:
  • powdered sugar – 1 tsp.
  • cheese – 200 g.

Pumpkin pie – preparation

Crush the cookies with a rolling pin into crumbs or grind them in a meat grinder. Add pumpkin seeds, honey and butter to the cookies, mix well. We put our “dough” in a baking dish, flatten it and compact it with our hands. We put the cake in the oven heated to 200 degrees for 5 minutes.

Peel the pumpkin and cut it into cubes. Pour boiling water over it and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes (until soft). Drain the water, and grind the pumpkin into a puree with a blender.

Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar, add cheese, pumpkin puree, and mix everything well to a homogeneous mass. We spread the filling on top of the baked cake. Put the cake in the oven for 25-30 minutes (temperature 200 degrees).

This is the end of the cooking process.

Or you can beat the cheese and powdered sugar in a blender until creamy and serve the cake together with the cream.
