Quick pie with arugula and cheese

For all arugula lovers, Smakota (Smakotainfo.com) suggests cooking quick pie with arugula and cheese. What could be simpler – ready-made puff pastry plus a simple filling, in a hot oven and a wonderful, hot and fragrant cake is ready. An open pie with rocket greens, cheese and walnuts is very simple and delicious. Cook and enjoy!

A recipe for making a quick pie with arugula

  • Puff pastry – 300 g.
  • Cheese – 200 g.
  • Arugula – 2 large bunches.
  • Egg – 2 pieces.
  • Walnuts – 3-4 pieces.
  • Ground black pepper – 1/3 tsp.
  • Salt – 1/3 tsp.
  • Oil for lubricating the mold.

Take the dough out of the freezer so that it thaws.

Let’s deal with the filling. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, tear the arugula with your hands (you can also cut it, but not very finely). Combine cheese and arugula, add eggs, salt and pepper, mix well.

We put the dough on an oiled form (don’t forget about the sides). Spread the filling, sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.

Put in an oven heated to 200 degrees, bake for 20-25 minutes.

The cake is ready, delicious!
