An easy-to-prepare and very tasty dish for a family lunch or dinner – rice field (chicken baked with rice). We spend no more than 10 minutes on cooking, the oven does the rest for us. And the result is tender juicy chicken and fragrant rice. The plates will be empty, don’t even doubt it

Rice field (chicken baked with rice) – ingredients

  • Chicken legs – 10 pieces.
  • Rice – 2 cups.
  • Onion (large) – 2 pieces.
  • Seasoning for chicken.
  • Sweet paprika.
  • Salt pepper.
  • Water – 6 glasses.
  • Ketchup – 12 st.l.
  • Sugar – 2 tsp.
  • Oil – 50

We wash the chicken legs, dry them and rub them with salt, pepper, seasonings, sweet paprika.

Wash the rice well and pour it into the bottom of a heat-resistant form.

Cut the onion into half rings, put it on the rice.

Place the drumsticks on top.

We mix water, ketchup, butter, sugar, and a little more chicken seasoning. We put it on the fire, warm it up until the oil is completely melted. Pour the liquid over the rice and chicken.

We put the form in the oven for 1 hour 30 minutes. And we forget about it (no need to stir).

The dish is served hot with your favorite vegetables.
