Rice with apples and sour cream sauce

Rice with apples and sour cream sauce – a simple recipe for apple and rice casserole. Such a casserole turns out to be very tender, and the sour cream filling complements this deliciousness very aptly.

Rice with apples and sour cream sauce – ingredients

  • Rice – 200
  • Milk – 700 ml.
  • Salt – a pinch.
  • Apples – 600 g (the same weight as peeled apples).
  • Oil – 1 tablespoons
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp.
  • Cinnamon – 1 tsp.
  • For the sauce:
  • Sour cream (20%) – 150 ml.
  • Vanilla sugar – 3 tbsp.
  • Brown sugar – 50 g.

Rice with apples and sour cream sauce – recipe

Peel the apples, cut out the core, rub on a coarse grater.

Heat oil in a pan, add apples, sugar and lemon juice, fry. Remove from heat, add cinnamon, mix.

Bring the milk to a boil, add rice, salt, cook, stirring occasionally. Remove the finished rice from the heat.

Grease a mold (20×15) with oil, put half of the rice, apples, and the rest of the rice, level it.

Mix the sour cream with sugar and vanilla sugar, pour it on top of the rice. Put in the oven heated to 190 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
