Roll with minced meat and mushrooms – an incredibly tasty and quite spectacular roll. It is good for serving hot (with a side dish) and cold (as a cut or for sandwiches).

Roll with minced meat and mushrooms – ingredients

  • Pork (one piece) – 1,2 kg.
  • Minced meat (preferably mixed) – 400 g.
  • Egg – 1 piece.
  • Mushrooms – 400 g.
  • Onion (small) – 2 pieces.
  • Grated Parmesan – 1-2 handfuls.
  • Salt pepper.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.

Cut a piece of pork and unfold it like a book. Beat the meat well to get the same thickness everywhere. Season the beaten meat with salt and pepper on both sides. Roll up into a roll, put in the refrigerator.

Clean the mushrooms, finely chop them, fry them together with finely chopped onions, add salt and pepper, leave to cool.

Add an egg, garlic squeezed through a garlic press, salt, and pepper to the minced meat.

Take the meat out of the refrigerator, evenly spread the minced meat on top, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and lay out the mushrooms.

Roll up the roll carefully and quite tightly, wrap the meat with cooking thread, and tightly wrap it in foil.

Pour about 300 ml of water into a baking dish, put a well-wrapped roll in foil.

Bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees for 2,5-3 hours. 20 minutes before the end of baking, cut and unfold the foil.
