Let’s start cooking green tomato and beetroot salad. First, clean, wash and dry all the vegetables.

Grate the beets and carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the tomatoes into pieces. Finely chop the onion.

Heat the oil in a pan, fry the onion, then add the carrot. When the vegetables are browned, combine them with beets and tomatoes, salt, add sugar, mix and stew for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then in green tomato and beetroot salad pour vinegar, add bay leaf and allspice, and simmer for another 10 minutes.

Now unfold green tomato and beetroot salad on sterilized jars, immediately close with lids, turn over, wrap and leave to cool completely. Done!
