Pliatsok “Saltison” – ingredients

  • For the dark dough:
  • Eggs – 3 pieces.
  • Sour cream – 1 cup.
  • Jam – 3 tbsp.
  • Cocoa – 3 tablespoon
  • Soda – 1 tsp
  • For light dough:
  • Flour – 3 cups.
  • Sugar – 1 cup.
  • Oil – 250
  • Vanilla sugar – 15 g.
  • For bіskvіtu:
  • Eggs – 3 pieces.
  • Sugar – ¾ cup.
  • Flour – ¾ cup.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • For the cream:
  • Milk – 2 glasses.
  • Sugar – 1 cup.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 tbsp.
  • Flour – 1 cup.
  • Oil – 250
  • Additionally:
  • Gooseberry jelly (or kiwi) – 1 package.
  • Strawberry jelly – 1 package.
  • Glaze (optional).

Pliatsok “Saltison” – preparation

Mix all the ingredients for the dark dough (the mass should be homogeneous).

Melt the butter over low heat, add sugar and vanilla sugar, stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Cool a little. Add the sifted flour to the butter, rub it into crumbs with your hands. We are cooling.

Pour crumbs of light dough into the dark dough, mix. We line the baking form with baking paper, pour the dough. Bake the cake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cool and cut into two cakes.

Now let’s prepare the biscuit. Separate the yolks from the proteins. Beat the egg whites to a stable foam, gradually add sugar, beat to a stiff mass. Add yolks and beat at low speed. Add sifted flour with baking powder, mix gently. We pour the dough into a form lined with baking paper. Bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut holes with a glass.

We will no longer need round biscuits, they can be poured with chocolate, spread with any cream, or simply eaten with tea.

We are preparing custard. Mix a glass of milk with flour and vanilla sugar. Bring the rest of the milk to a boil with sugar. Pour milk and flour into hot sweet milk, cook over low heat until thickened. We are cooling.

Beat the butter until smooth, add the custard a spoonful at a time.

Dilute each in a glass of hot water.

We collect the braid. We put a dark-light cake on the bottom, grease it with whipped cream. Spread the sponge cake with holes on top. Pour green jelly into each hole. We put it in the refrigerator until it hardens. Pour the red jelly and put it back in the refrigerator. Spread the cream on top of the jelly, cover with a dark-light cake.

At this point, you can finish the preparation of the cake, and you can also pour the glaze on top of the cake.
