Simple cake Plyamka with strawberries

Fluffy, moderately moist two-color cake with strawberries (although you can use another berry). Pie speck with strawberries it is prepared very quickly and without too much trouble from simple ingredients. And the taste is simply “finger-licking”.

Simple cake Plyamka with strawberries – ingredients

  • Flour – 3 cups.
  • Baking powder – 3 tsp.
  • Butter – 250 g (or oil – 220 ml).
  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Carbonated water – 1 glass.
  • Sugar – 300 g.
  • Vanilla sugar – 20 g.
  • Cocoa – 3 tablespoon
  • Strawberries – 250-300 g.

Strawberries are cleaned from the stalks, washed under running water, dried.

Melt the butter, leave to cool.

Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. Add melted butter (or oil) and water, mix well.

Mix flour with baking powder, add portions to the liquid ingredients. Mix well until the ingredients are combined.

Divide the dough into two equal parts. Add cocoa to one, mix thoroughly.

Cover the bottom of the mold (26×26) with parchment, spread dark and light dough one spoon at a time (make a checkerboard pattern). Next, we put the dark dough on top of the light dough and vice versa. You can also make “waves” with a wooden skewer.

Place the strawberries on top (with the wider side up), carefully pressing them into the dough (about half of the berries).

We bake the cake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for about 45 minutes, until a “dry match”.

Remove the cake from the mold, leave to cool, slice and serve.
