Simple zucchini pie with meatballs

A recipe for a simple zucchini pie with meatballs
- Zucchini (medium size) – 2 pieces.
- Chicken egg – 1 piece.
- Flour – 180-200 g.
- Salt – 1 tsp.
- Baking powder – 1 tsp.
- Minced meat – 100-150 g.
- Onion – 1 piece.
- Spices (Italian herbs).
- Hard cheese (2 tbsp. in the dough, 2 tbsp. for dusting) – 4 tbsp.
- Breadcrumbs (for dusting).
Prepare minced meat in advance. Grind the meat together with the onion in a blender (or meat grinder), add salt to taste and Italian herbs. Form meatballs the size of a walnut.
Wash young zucchini well under running water, rub on a medium (carrot) grater, do not wring. Add egg, salt and baking powder, mix well, gradually add flour (you can use more or less than indicated in the recipe, it all depends on the quality of the flour and the juiciness of the zucchini). The texture of the dough should resemble pancake batter. Add 2 tbsp. to the finished dough. grated cheese
Grease a baking dish with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread our zucchini dough. Place the meatballs on the dough, dipping them slightly into the dough. Sprinkle everything with the remaining cheese.
We put our pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake it for about 40 minutes (focus on our oven). After 30 minutes of baking, it is better to cover the top with foil so that it does not brown too much.
