Snack Cracker cake

Snack “Cracker cake” it looks very nice, festive and original on the table. In addition, it is very tasty, guests will be delighted and will definitely ask for the recipe.

Such a cake should be made in the evening so that it has time to soak in by morning.

Snack “Cracker cake” – ingredients

  • Saltine crackers – 250 g.
  • Fish in its own juice – 1 can (any canned food).
  • Eggs – 4 pieces (boiled).
  • Green onion – 1 bunch.
  • Cheese (hard) – 150 g.
  • Mushrooms – 200 g.
  • Onion – 1 piece.
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves.
  • Mayonnaise.

Clean and finely chop the mushrooms. Put a frying pan on the stove and pour 2 tbsp. oil Clean and finely chop the onion. We send it to a hot pan, stew under a closed lid until soft. Add mushrooms to onions and fry over medium heat for 7-8 minutes.

We open the canned fish. Take out the fish, if necessary, separate the bones and mash the fish with a fork.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Add garlic passed through a garlic press and a little mayonnaise to the cheese, mix well.

Separate boiled eggs into yolks and whites. Grate proteins on a fine grater. We leave the yolks for decorating the cake.

All the ingredients are ready, let’s start assembling the cake. Place the first layer of crackers tightly on a plate, make a mesh of mayonnaise and sprinkle with protein, then again crackers, fish, green onions, mesh of mayonnaise, crackers, mushrooms with onions, cheese, mesh of mayonnaise, crackers, mesh of mayonnaise and rub all over egg yolk surface.

We put the cake in a cold place and leave it for 4-8 hours.
