Spartacus cast (proven recipe)

Spartacus cast – recipe-variation of a popular and very tasty cake. Cast Spartak is prepared very simply and much faster than its “original brother”. After all, all you have to do is mix all the ingredients, spoon the dough onto the mold.

Spartacus cast – ingredients

For cakes:

  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Sugar – 2 cups.
  • Butter (margarine) – 200 g.
  • Milk – 320 ml.
  • Sour cream – 8 tbsp.
  • Cocoa (dark) – 6 tbsp.
  • Flour – 800 g.
  • Soda – 1 tablespoon (extinguished with vinegar).
  • Honey – 6 tbsp.

For the cream:

  • Milk – 1 l.
  • Sugar – 1 cup.
  • Vanilla sugar – 10 g.
  • Vanilla or cream pudding – 2 packages.
  • Oil – 400

Melt the butter (margarine), cool it.

Beat eggs and sugar well, add melted butter, milk, sour cream and honey, beat everything until smooth.

Mix flour with cocoa, sift to liquid ingredients, extinguish soda with vinegar. Mix everything well.

We grease the mold with oil with a brush, and spread the liquid dough with a spoon, spreading it thinly on the bottom of the mold. Bake the cake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 5-7 minutes.

***Note. The size of the form in this recipe does not matter. A small form – more cakes, a large form – fewer cakes.


Dissolve puddings in a glass of milk, mix well so that there are no lumps. We put the rest of the milk on the fire, add sugar and vanilla sugar, bring to a boil.

Pour the diluted puddings into the boiling milk, cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Transfer the finished cream to a ceramic dish and cover with cling film so that it touches the entire surface of the cream. Leave to cool.

Beat the soft mixture a little to a light fluffy mass, add the cooled pudding spoon by spoonful, beat until smooth.

We divide the cream into equal parts (according to the number of cakes), grease each cake with cream.

Spartak can be topped with your favorite glaze or spread with cream and sprinkled with crumbled cake.
