Square with peaches

Square with peaches – a dish with a simple name and a simple recipe. But despite the simplicity in preparation, platyki has every chance to win the hearts (and stomachs) of your guests at the festive table. Two ordinary biscuits in combination with a biscuit made of chocolate, peach jelly, a layer, a delicate cream create an extraordinary taste. And even in the cut, such a plot has a very beautiful appearance.

Pie with peaches – ingredients

  • For bіskvіtu:
  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Sugar – ¾ cup.
  • Flour – ¾ cup.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • For chocolate sponge cake:
  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Sugar – ¾ cup.
  • Flour – ¾ cup.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • Dark chocolate – 180 g.
  • For the cream:
  • Milk – 2 glasses.
  • Sugar – ¾ cup.
  • Vanilla sugar – 20 g.
  • Starch – 2 tbsp.
  • Flour – 2 tbsp.
  • Yolk – 1 piece.
  • Oil – 200
  • Additionally:
  • Peaches – 1 can.
  • Peach jelly – 2 packages.
  • Nutella (or other chocolate paste) – 350 g.
  • Square waffles – 1 sheet (ground).
  • Chocolate glaze.

Sponge cake

***Attention in the list of ingredients, the required amount for ONE cake is indicated. We need to bake TWO of these.

Separate the proteins from the yolks. Beat the egg whites until stiff foam, add sugar one spoon at a time, beat well each time. Add yolks one by one, beat at the lowest speed of the mixer.

Mix flour with baking powder, sift to egg mass. Carefully knead with a spatula.

Bake the second cake in the same way.

Biscuit with chocolate

Separate the proteins from the yolks. Beat the egg whites until stiff foam, add sugar one spoon at a time, beat well each time. Add yolks one by one, beat at the lowest speed of the mixer.

Mix flour with baking powder, sift to egg mass, add grated chocolate. Carefully knead with a spatula.

We cover a 30×40 form with parchment, spread the dough, bake at a temperature of 160 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until a “dry match”. We are cooling.

Cream

Add starch, flour and yolk to a glass of milk, mix well so that there are no lumps.

We put the rest of the milk on the fire, add sugar and vanilla sugar, bring to a boil.

Pour the previously prepared mixture into the boiling milk. Stirring constantly, cook until thickened. Transfer the cooked cream to a ceramic dish, cover with cling film so that it touches the entire surface of the cream. Set aside until completely cooled.

Beat the butter until smooth, add the cooled cooked cream one spoon at a time, beat until smooth.

We collect the braid

Dissolve the jelly in 2 cups of hot water.

Cut the peaches into small cubes, add to the jelly. Leave until slightly thickened (it still runs off the spoon, but no longer water). We spread the thickened jelly on a white sponge cake, cover it with a sponge cake with chocolate, press it down slightly. We send it to a cold place until the jelly layer thickens completely.

Heat the Nutella a little, mix it with the crushed waffle cake, and spread the chocolate cake on top.

Spread the cream on top, level well, cover with the second sponge cake.

Pour your favorite glaze on top of the cakes, put in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.
