Stuffed zucchini Shuttle

Stuffed zucchini “Shuttle” – a simple recipe for a tasty and healthy dinner. We share rather with a reminder or an idea. After all, a young juicy zucchini opens up space for the flight of our imagination. Such a zucchini can be stuffed with anything – minced meat, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, even eggplants, boiled egg with herbs, sour milk cheese with young green garlic. we can go on and on. Today we will stuff our zucchini “Chowniks” with minced meat with onions and garlic. Simple, quick and very tasty!

Stuffed zucchini “Chovnyk” – ingredients

  • Zucchini (young, small) – 4 pieces.
  • Chicken fillet – 1 small piece.
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves.
  • Onion (small) – 1 piece.
  • Provence herbs – 1 teaspoon (or your favorite spices).
  • Salt, pepper, paprika – to taste.
  • Olive oil.
  • Cheese – about 50 g.

Stuffed zucchini “Shuttle” – recipe

Grind the fillet into minced meat.

Cut the onion into small cubes, finely chop the garlic, add to the minced meat.

Wash the zucchini well, cut off the tail, carefully remove the middle with a spoon, leave about 0,5 cm on all sides.

Finely chop the middle of the zucchini, add it to the minced meat, add salt and pepper, add Provencal herbs, paprika, and mix well.

Zucchini “shuttles” are greased with olive oil from the outside, if desired, you can add a little salt from the inside, put the filling. We apply the filling with sour cream, put it in a baking dish, cover it with a lid or foil. We send it to the oven heated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Meanwhile, grate the cheese. Remove the lid or foil, sprinkle the “shuttles” with grated cheese, send to the oven for another 15-20 minutes.

Zucchini shuttles should be soft when pierced.
