Sunny salad with chicken schnitzels – ingredients

  • For 2 servings:
  • Iceberg salad – 1/4 head.
  • Chicken schnitzels or chops – 4 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 100 g.
  • Canned corn – 50 g.
  • Cherry tomatoes – 10 pcs.
  • Lemon – 1/2 pc.
  • Honey – 2 tbsp.
  • Olive oil – 100 ml.
  • Mustard (can also be in grains) – 2 tbsp.

If you don’t have chicken schnitzels or chops yet, prepare them according to the following recipes.

If you already have several schnitzels or chops, then cut them into strips, as in the photo.

Iceberg lettuce is washed, cut or torn into medium pieces.

Cut the hard cheese into small cubes.

Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into quarters or halves.

Next, we make a salad dressing. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce (honey, olive oil (it can be diluted with simple sunflower oil 50:50), lemon juice and mustard (it can also be varied by adding 1 tbsp. with grains, and another simple one from powder)) one glass jar, which can be closed with a lid to mix well. Shake the cocktail well, like a shaker, to a homogeneous yellowish mass.

When all the ingredients for the salad are prepared, put them on 2 plates in the following order: iceberg lettuce, hard cheese, cherry tomatoes, sprinkle with corn and lay out the meat in the form of rays of the sun. Pour the yellowish sauce on top, adding even more “sun” to the salad and serve. Everyone will do the mixing for themselves.
